I often tell my clients that I am a slow learner. I make the same mistakes over and over again. I try the same solutions expecting different results. I deny what is right in front of me on a regular basis.
I'm guessing you can relate to this.
It took me over a decade to finally figure out what was right in front of my face all along.
When we are used to being able to use our brains to think through complex situations, to answer hard questions, and to deliver groundbreaking results, we tend to think that our brain will solve
everything for us. We rely on our brain power.
I love my brain. It has served me SO well in so many ways. But there is one area where it has repeatedly let me down.
When I believe that I can think my way out of anxiety, sadness, loneliness, or anger, I always end up frustrated and confused. Why does my brain often forsake me when I need it the most? Why do I inherently and rationally KNOW what I need to do, think, or feel....and then become completely incapable of doing it?
It is so incredibly painful to KNOW that you should or shouldn't feel a certain way, and then not be able to shift.
In all my years of coaching and consulting, I have found this to be the most painful and difficult thing for us to understand.
The brain struggles to think its way out of the response the body is having.
Because anxiety, sadness, loneliness, anger...all the emotions...they live in the body.
And for whatever reason, those of us who have been successful and celebrated for our brains, are those of us who are least attuned to our bodies.
Embodiment is our birthright.
It is a necessity if we are to survive this world emotionally and physically intact.
It isn't hard.
But it is challenging.
Sometimes that is true of the simplest things.
I'd love to say that these embodiment practices came easily to me. That they just flowed out of my fingertips.
But the truth is I fought them kicking and screaming and perhaps most hilariously, trying to think my way out of them.
It doesn't have to be this way.
I want to show you the path.

RESONANCE: a state of being "in harmony with" where something aligns with or vibrates in sync with another thing, creating a sense of connection or deep understanding, often used in the context of emotions or ideas aligning with one another.
Course Overview
The Resonance Project is a six-week course that will establish a practice of embodiment work exploring what it looks like to get out of our minds and back into a resonant relationship with our bodies; to become more attuned to our nature. This course includes breath-work, meditation, yoga, writing, creative projects and all kinds of other things! You will be led through a series of different topics over the course of our time together. You do not need to have any prior experience with embodiment work to attend!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Embodiment anyway?
I get it. There is an aspect of the word embodiment that sounds very "woo-woo, new agey" and believe me, if anyone would have rolled their eyes at this a decade ago, it would have been me. But then life had its way with me and I realized, with great desspair, that my beautiful, glorified brain could not help me in the ways I needed it to all the time. Put simply, to me, embodiment means that we learn how to bring our body wisdom into our lives on a regular basis; that we stop relying on all the thinking and instead lean into the knowing.
What if I cannot attend classes live?
No worries! Classes are recorded and will be made available within 24 hours of class time. If you have questions you want answered and you won't be in class, simply email me before hand and I'll address them for you in the recording.
How long will this material be available?
This material will continue to be available. It will be hosted on our community platform, and you can download and take whatever you want permanently.
What if I'm not physically able to do yoga or the movement work?
We will offer modifications for anything physical. The movement piece of this course is not intended to be intense. The movements will be gentle, and for the most part, slow.
I'm feeling depressed and not in the best spot right now, is this course appropriate for me?
Yes! Obviously we are not promising a cure for depression, or any other conditions you may have. But we truly believe that this work is a great complement to other treatment modalities you may be utilizing (therapy, medication, etc). If you need more clarity on this please contact me directly.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are offered in the checkout area.
Is there a refund policy?
Once class has started you may withdraw your participation during the first week for a full refund. After that, refunds will not be offered, however we may be able to put you in a class that is occurring later in the year.
